1. The service
Cadrix Cloud creates and operates a dedicated virtual machine (VM) for your subscription, with Cadrix installed and reachable at your-address.cadrix.app. The VM runs in Hetzner data centers in Europe. The service is in beta: features may change and there is no availability guarantee (SLA).
2. Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email and are responsible for keeping access to it. Your VM's Cadrix password is shown once in the dashboard; store it safely. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. An account is personal; do not share or resell it without our written permission.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Plans are monthly, billed by card through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled: in Brazilian reais (BRL) for customers in Brazil and in US dollars (USD) elsewhere. Cards issued in Brazil are charged in BRL. Applicable taxes may be added.
- BRL prices advertised as promotional apply to new subscriptions while the promotion is shown on the pricing page. Subscribe during the promotion and keep this price for as long as your subscription stays active; if it is cancelled, a new subscription follows the price in force.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. When the subscription ends, the VM, its disk and its address are permanently deleted. Move your repositories and files elsewhere first.
- Periods already started are not refunded pro rata, except where the law requires it.
- Right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer in Brazil, you may withdraw within 7 days of the first charge for a full refund by writing to [email protected] (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code). Consumers elsewhere keep the statutory rights of their country.
- Changing plans: for now, ask support; the VM is resized with a few minutes of downtime.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from the billing cycle after the notice. This does not apply to the promotional price kept above.
4. AI models: your own account or Cadrix credits
There are two ways for agents to use AI models, chosen per runtime inside Cadrix:
- Your own account or key. Inside your VM you connect your own accounts or keys (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or Google) and contract those services directly with each provider, under its terms. You are responsible for complying with them, including rules on using subscriptions on servers, which providers may change at any time. In this case model usage is billed by the provider, not by us.
- Cadrix credits. You use access to Anthropic and OpenAI models that we contract, and pay per token with prepaid credits under section 5. In this case your contract is with Cadrix, and those providers' usage policies (the Anthropic Usage Policy and the OpenAI Usage Policies) also apply to your use.
When you have both, Cadrix uses your own credential by default; you can pick another mode in each chat's settings.
5. Model credits
- What they are. Credits are a prepaid balance in US dollars (USD), consumed according to the tokens the models process in credits mode. The per-token price of each model, which includes our margin over the providers' prices, is listed in the documentation; it may change when providers change theirs, and the price in force at the time of each call applies.
- Packs. Sold in the dashboard in packs of US$10, US$25 and US$50, paid through Stripe. In Brazil, a pack is charged in Brazilian reais (BRL), converted at the Central Bank of Brazil's PTAX selling rate of the most recent business day at checkout, with no spread; the rate used is shown at checkout and kept with the purchase. The balance stays in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be added.
- Welcome credit. Every account receives US$2 in credits once, to use the agents without any setup. This credit has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable, and is not granted again if you cancel and subscribe again.
- Expiry and ownership. Credits do not expire. The balance belongs to your account, not to the VM: if the subscription ends or the VM is removed, it remains available for a new subscription.
- Spending cap. Usage stops when the balance reaches zero; you are never charged beyond what you bought. Calls already in flight may slightly exceed the balance, and we absorb that excess.
- Withdrawal and refunds. If you are a consumer in Brazil, you may withdraw from the purchase of a pack within 7 days, with a full refund of that pack's unused credits, by writing to [email protected] (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code). Consumers elsewhere keep the statutory rights of their country. Beyond that, refunds of purchased, unused credits are considered case by case by support.
- Acceptable use. Section 6 also applies to use through credits, together with the Anthropic and OpenAI usage policies. We may suspend credits mode in case of abuse.
6. Acceptable use
You are responsible for everything that happens on your VM, including what your AI agents do. You may not use the service for:
- cryptocurrency mining;
- spam or bulk email (port 25 is blocked);
- network scanning, attacks, denial of service or unauthorized access to third-party systems;
- hosting or distributing malware, phishing, child sexual abuse material or any illegal content;
- infringing third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
- circumventing plan limits, reselling resources or running open proxies or VPNs.
Your plan includes Hetzner's traffic allowance for the machine type (20 TB/month in Europe); usage far above it may be limited.
7. Your data and backups
Everything you put on the VM (code, files, credentials, agent conversations) remains yours. We do not use it to train models or for any purpose other than operating the service. We do not currently back up the VM's disk: keep your repositories in a code host (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) and your own backups.
8. Operation, updates and administrative access
We update the Cadrix on your VM with releases signed by us; an update restarts the service and running agents for a few seconds. We have technical administrative access to the VM to operate it; we only use it for maintenance, to investigate a failure or suspected abuse, at your request, or when required by law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate a VM that breaches these terms or endangers the service, the infrastructure or third parties. Whenever possible we warn you first and give you time to fix the issue; in serious cases, or when required by law, suspension may be immediate.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" during the beta. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any damage is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the event, and we are not liable for lost profits, data loss caused by the absence of your own backups, or acts of AI providers or other third parties. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited, including consumer rights.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version. If you do not agree, cancel before it takes effect.
12. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Franca, State of São Paulo, Brazil have jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in the courts of their own domicile.
